DREAMVERSE 23 - Night Factory
The lights are always on in the factory by the bay.
I wonder why, while the people sleep, it stays awake.
That watcher of the night, towering over the water.
I imagine sneaking inside, curious of what I’ll find:
Strange machinery I know little about,
Plans for the next day, signs of human progress.
What does the factory do when no one is looking?
Run tests? Build sculptures? Play games? Does it dream?
Such are the things we merfolk think about
On dark nights when we dare to peek above the surface.
