What does the river know and where has it been?

Where does it begin, where does it end?

Does it tire from rushing one place to another?

Do rivers have parents, sisters, or brothers?

If a river could speak, what stories would spill?

Does it like waterfalling or just rolling downhill?

Can it choose where it goes or does it stick to its course?

As it turns over stones, does it laugh with great force?

There’s so much about rivers we don’t know, it’s true.

But I’ll take any river I can splash in with you.
