DREAMVERSE 20 - Treehouse
When my eyes first alighted on this lovely old tree
I knew without question, it was meant to be
So I set out to make it my own
With bricks and shingles and plenty of care
I labored for years to make residence there
But the work was not mine alone
For the squirrels joined in, the the jaybirds did too
Then the badgers, working for a carpenter shrew
Till, one day, the job was all done
So we all filled the place, from branches to ground
Now ‘tis a fine space. And if you’re ever in town,
Come and visit our growing tree home
